Amsterdam, August 27, 2024 - As of August 27, 2024, Hikmet Sevdican and Johan Dijkstra have been appointed as Chairman and Director of Finance, respectively, at Achmea Mortgages. Together, they form the statutory management of Achmea Mortgage Funds B.V., which operates under the trade name Achmea Mortgages and acts as an asset manager for mortgages.
Hikmet Sevdican (1972) has been working as Director of Mortgages at Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance since December 2023. Prior to that, he was ultimately responsible for Rabo Fund Management and played an important role in the establishment of Vista Hypotheken in 2018. Earlier in his career, Hikmet was Managing Partner at Dynamic Credit Partners Europe, a board member of the Association of Investment Analysts, and held various investment management roles at APG and Robeco.
Johan Dijkstra (1980) has been employed as a Senior Manager of Finance & Control at Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance since April 2021. He began his career in 2007 at ABN AMRO, where he held various roles in the Mortgage division and Group Controlling. For the last six years, he was active in the Private Banking division, first as CFO at ABN AMRO MeesPierson, and later as Head of Commercial Steering & Client Analytics.
