As the first mortgage asset management company in the Netherlands, Achmea Mortgages has a long track record, built on innovation, trust and a vast understanding of the Dutch mortgage landscape. We have successfully managed our portfolios through multiple market cycles, whilst keeping the interest of our investors and homeowners in mind.

Our foundation, deeply rooted in the history of Dutch pension funds, has positioned us as pioneers in mortgage asset management. We have been managing our flagship mutual mortgage fund PVF Particuliere Hypothekenfonds since 1997 on behalf of over 50 institutional investors.

Our Strategy

We offer three distinct mortgage brands through our strong partners in the intermediary market, each designed to fulfill specific investor needs:

1. Centraal Beheer Leef Hypotheek: Catering to investors seeking to construct custom portfolios, our well-recognized Centraal Beheer brand stands firmly in the Dutch financial services consumer market. We enable investors to build portfolios that match their financial and sustainability objectives through our Achmea Mortgage Investment Platform.

2. Syntrus Achmea Hypotheek: With this mortgage brand we exclusively originate mortgages on behalf of our flagship mutual fund PVF Particuliere Hypothekenfonds. This demonstrates our commitment to delivering robust financial products that meet the stringent criteria of institutional investors.
   
   
3. Attens Hypotheek: Recognizing the unique contributions of healthcare personnel, we established this brand specifically for PFZW, the Dutch healthcare pension fund. This investment solution is designed to provide tailored mortgage solutions to healthcare workers, aligning their dreams of homeownership with the investment aims of the sector that values them most.

By pursuing a multi-brand and multi-product strategy our team is dedicated to continuously meet the needs of homeowners and institutional investors. We support them, also during difficult times.

Our deeply rooted cooperation with Achmea Bank and Centraal Beheer enables us to cater to homeowners’ needs for carefree living, across all our brands and products.
